01 About

Engineering is the craft. Trust is the product.

I started in computer networks in Brazil, then spent six years as a business systems analyst, migrating ERPs, automating processes and cutting waste out of systems that a whole company depended on. That is where I learned that software is only as good as the people and money it moves.

In 2019 I joined Bold Commerce and went all in on the frontend. Today I lead JavaScript, TypeScript and React work for the checkout team: platform-agnostic storefront templates, a payment SDK, shared packages and the standards that keep a large codebase honest.

I care about quality you can measure, such as full unit-test coverage and typed APIs, and about leaving every team I touch better than I found it. English is my working language and Portuguese is my native one.
